How it works

You bring the broken thing.
Jin brings the patience.

SokoJin is built around one idea: repair help should adapt to your exact situation, not pretend every dishwasher is the same one in the YouTube video. Here's how it actually works.

1

You snap. Jin looks.

Open the camera, point it at whatever's wrong. Jin analyzes the photo — the model, the part, the puddle, the burn mark — and asks a couple of follow-up questions if it needs more.

2

You get a diagnosis, not a guess.

Jin gives you a ranked list of likely causes, with the reasoning. The most likely fix first, the more expensive ones last. Because we want you to not need a service call if you don't.

3

You fix. Jin coaches.

Step-by-step walkthrough, paced to your speed. Stuck? Snap another photo and Jin sees where you are. Need a part? Jin links the exact replacement on Amazon.

How Jin gets it right

Jin sees what you see, then gets smarter and sharper from your feedback.

Most AI assistants read your description and guess. Jin looks at the actual photo: the puddle, the burn mark, the rust on the inside of your dryer drum. It sees what you see, then it asks the right next question.

When Jin walks you through a fix, it can pull up the part it's talking about. So you know you're looking at the right thing, not a stock photo from someone else's machine.

Every diagnosis ends with you telling Jin whether the fix worked. That answer is what Jin remembers when the next thing breaks at your place. The Jin helping you fix your dryer in six months will be sharper than the Jin helping today, because you taught it.

We don't store your photos longer than the repair session unless you explicitly opt in to help train Jin. Full privacy details →

What Jin can and can't do

Honest about the limits.

Where Jin shines

Everyday appliance fixes

Dishwashers, dryers, washers, fridges, ovens, garbage disposals. High-volume, well-documented problems. Jin will save you a $200–$400 service call most of the time.

Where Jin tells you to call a pro

Gas, refrigerant, and high-voltage

Anything involving gas lines, sealed refrigerant systems, or high-voltage components. Jin will refuse to walk you through and instead help you find a licensed pro. That's by design.
